Symptom

You want to save emails to different recipients in different mailboxes.

Solution

To add a mailbox,

1. Log in to the webspace control panel with your cu-... user name.

2. Click the "Email Addresses" tab.

3. Click the "Create Email Address" button.

4. Into "Email address" enter the part before the @ sign. If you only manage one domain, this domain will be shown to the right of the @ sign. If you manage multiple domains, select the domain from the drop-down list to the right of the @ sign.

5. If you want the email holder to be able to control the mailbox functions himself, check "Access to the customer panel", otherwise uncheck the box.

6. Enter a password in the "Password" field and the "Confirm password" repeat box or click "Generate" to generate a password and then "Show" to display the generated password so that you can record it.

7. If you want to create a mail inbox where messages can be saved, leave the checkbox "Mailbox" checked. If you only want to create an email address (for example, to forward incoming mail), uncheck the "Mailbox" checkbox to avoid duplicates and to save disk space. You can set up email forwarding on the "Forwarding" tab. Also note other options, e.g. the antispam filter.

8. Click on the "OK" button.
